I used to work for T-Mobile... I will make a few e-mails/phone calls for you and find out --the Pearl is going to be hard to find for trade because it is so new. And I wouldnt let my MDA go for anything. Any other BB you may want (7100 or 7105?)

I work for corporate at tmobile and can get you both with a HEFTY discount. let me know what you wanna do...

FYI the MDA is old and outdated...you may want to look into a dash (HTC--same company) or an unlocked 8525...it will be the MDA II, but tmobile wont carry it for another 3 months...

Anywho, get at me, I can hook you up on ANYTHING that has to do with tmobile

pearls are not hard to get first off. i have 2 sitting in my room. i work corporate as well out in so-cal. if igtree cant come thru without renewing your contract let me know mine are both bnib

Edit: btw dont buy htc products they lagg and their reception is terrible. battery life is substantially less than a blackberry.

talk time on a pearl is 3.5 hours and 5 on a dash

on a 8700 its 4 hours and 4.5 on an MDA...

WM5 is superior to the BB interface.

If you have an lagging HTC, clean it up, its just like anyother computer...maintenance is key.

ALSO, I have never had a problem with HTC reception with Cingular or TMobile

Pearl does have 3.5 talk time but 15 days standby

MDA has 5 hrs talk time with good signal which hardly ever happens and 10.4 days standby

Dash gets 3.5 as well and only 188 hrs standy tops

8700 gets 4 hrs talk time and 16 days standby

my info is direct out of streamline so dont bother trying to top it off

wm5 blows it crashes. i think corporations speak for themselves by using a stable rim software which only comes in blackberry phones. u obviously havent been working for tmobile long enough to kno that windows mobile phones lagg outta the box as well.

to the orig. poster have you found a pearl yet?
