yes like the title states

im looking to buy a LONG amp. I have a 4 door car and im throwing away the front and rear bench seats - and making 4 custom bucket seats for it. there will be a verry nice center consil made running the entire leingth of the car - that will feature some mid bass speakers and hopeuflly I can find a nice old school style long amp to mount on top of it to show it off.

something in the range of 36" long of an amp would be ideal a bit longer or shorter is also fine. and it dont have to be old school amp - but that would be cool too.

my electrical will consist of 3 group 31 batterys in the trunk - 120a alternator - with room to add a second alternator if nessary - and most likely there will be a pair of 15s in the back seats either ib or built in custom box in to the trunk.

I dont have my subs picked out for the car yet - so power requirments of the amp are not yet set in stone - so im basicly open to any big *** amp that can good enough to mount on top of a center consil on a old school lowrider show car with hydraulics and fancy paint. the car is 1972 but im building it up in the late 80's early 90's style

I had a line on a us amps vxl 400 but it had sold already super bummed it was 44" long

and good at .5 ohm with propper electrical.

I like the casings of the us amps. they look pretty nice I do believe. do they all come with plexi bottoms ? or is that just some models...

im gona google all the above amps posted to me to find specs on them. will also send out pm in a little bit.

thanks guys.

also if you can tell me the size of your amps thats pretty important to me right now as im designing the interior space I need to know what will fit where.

so a 36" long amp is good if its 12" wide but if its 16" wide that might be pushing it ya know ?
