Depends on how much you want to spend and what features you are looking for.

Fluke 113-117 series are true RMS, with min/max hold. Can get them for $140-180 depending on the model.

Clamps are gonna be a little more expensive, especially if you want one with a peak hold funciton. Here's a fluke clamp meter that offers a min/max hold function but only up to 600 amps and only reads AC amps, no DC.

If you want fluke's top of the line clamp meter, you need to find a model 337 which measures AC and DC current. They are pretty expensive from a retailer ($300+), but they are all over ebay.

Looks pretty basic. Once again, no DC amperage readings. To some people that's important, to others it doesn't really matter.

The 780 at the bottom says it does AC/DC current. I've seen a few times on that website they will say a clamp meter will measure AC/DC current, yet it only reads AC. I would look further into it, if it were me.
