Looking to buy some nice/higher end 3 1/2" speakers for my dash.. I have a pretty big truck and will be running a loud sub stage with a front stage only no rear.. So I want some nice 3 1/2s to be on the dash so when I crank it I can turn them on to be able to keep up..

price isn't really an issue but just to have one under $200 would be best..

these need to get loud but sound good doing it.. I was looking at full ranges such as Dayton ND90-8 3-1/2

If you don't have any but know of a good 3 1/2 let me know.. I have never looked at 3 1/2s but with my car project I didn't want to cut the doors so I had speakers on the rear deck in a fiberglass enclosure and while they got loud it sounded dumb with speakers screaming at the back of my head..

Yeah I was going to suggest those Daytons. I have 6 Dayton 6.5in mids and 6 Dayton tweeters in my durangos front doors and I am VERY pleased with how they sound. Best bang for buck purchase Ive ever made.

except for tweeters most 3.5's mids can't handle over 50w rms...
understood but I have heard some can still get loud? efficient ones.. never heard em myself though.. Was looking at tweeters aswell but like a little more spectrum than that unless it boils down to it..

not looking strictly bang for buck.. they need to get loud.. I watched a couple vids but can't tell as most are people putting em in weird boxes and it just being them with nothing to relate them to

i added a link above...they sound good and get loud...they are the Earthquake screamers...online carstereo has them for $69 a pair
I may have to give those a try.. Do you remember how much power you were feeding em? all I can find is the MAX numbers.. I was planning on either h/u power or hooking up my OS rockford 50.2 and add-on Xover

I saw that.. Are you sure that is a pair.. I was concerned on that..
