It turns on and everything but the gain knob is broke and for some reason whenever an ohm load is hooked up the ac voltage goes to 0. Normally with no sub hooked up it reads like 32v AC.

Of what? Like it looks just like a normal 4000d on the outside. Everything is good except the gain is stripped from messing with it since it never responded to anything only to find out it was broken.
