it all depends on what you are powering with it. what sub or subs are you going to be powering? and the zx are rated at 2 ohms i believe the smaller kx are rated at 1 ohm

The only kicker amp I know of that is 1ohm stable is the kx1200.1, both the zx750.1 and the zx1000.1 do rated power at 2 ohms stable.

You wont' be disappointed in the kicker zx750.1, I had one and it was a great amp and the birthsheet rated it at 925@2ohms also.
