no.. it needs to work 100% mechanically.. it can be scratched to hell w/e screen doesn't work.. idc.. but i need one...

atleast thats wat im guessing cuz i did the same thing..Just by a scratched up peace of crap with or with out a broke screen and throw it in the glove box and then that way you dont have to worry about ruining your battery on your good ipod.
