Get a new one dude. They are better I am typing this NOW with my iPod touch. Get the new 3rd gen ones. The 32 or 64GB version has the same updates the iPhone 3GS has. So I have 3.1 update. I have wireless b g and n. I have Bluetooth and can stream wireless to my car stereo. So I listen to music while browsing the net like I am right now.

Any 16GB version will be the old ones. The new version has a faster processor and a updated OpenGL. Better overall. The 8GB 3rd gen does have some of the upgrades but not the faster processor n such

I love mine. It sends wireless ALAC or 320 Kbps music flawlessly to my JVC stereo wig Bluetooth. I love it
