I'm doing a budget install for my buddy's Kia. I was going to let him use my Alpine MRV-F345, but my dad has decided to keep the F150 that this amp was going to go in (he was going to trade it in, but is now just going to get a sedan and keep the truck).

We already have his HU...CDA-9847 from MikeyB. Wires are going to be KnuKonceptz. Sub will probably be 1 10/12" AA Assassin in a small sealed box. This is the guy's first system and he doesn't listen to pretty much any hip hop/techno, so a nice budget SQ install is all he needs. He's also getting my old Type-R comps.

So I need an amp that is 3-way capable. 75 or 100x2 for the fronts and 200-300 bridged for the sub. Again,

Got it. I will keep it in mind, but I'd really like something cheaper as I am just going to buy it for him and have him pay me back when he can. He's on a really tight budget and I know he can't afford to buy an amp right now, but I am the one that convinced him to do the system anyway. All he really was going to need to buy was a HU, sub and wiring...using my amp and speakers. But now he pretty much is buying everything so...yeah. I'd like something cheaper.

I'd rather not, just for wiring sake. Remember he is on a budget. That means distro block and extra wiring/fusing. Let me know what you got though and I'll see....

i have a Pyramid Diamond series 4ch..it says 800watts...but most likely 100 x 4 it looks rough like its been through hell...but it works...i'll let it go for $99.95 shipped.....
