well I found on IA 20.1 locally and will be lookin for another one shortly. I thought about the 40.1 but I think I'd get more power running 2 strapped @ 1.3 ohms than one 40.1 @ 1.3

I don't see how they could be any different considering that they have the same boards. The Elevation amps look like they have a IA heatsink with the same internals of a SAZ1500. heres a picture of the board.
let me know what you think

Shot you a PM with pics. I actually might be in the same boat lookin for power at 1.3 Just sounds like I don't need as much as you.

Just because its the same board doesn't mean it has the same components on it, even if the components on the board look the same it doesn't mean they are. They might have different tolerances, build qualities, etc.
