Can't you just get 12/14 gauge cheaper wire? Or is size an issue?

why on earth would you want to run a cheaply made 12/14 wire that will end up with the approximity of a 16 any way... get a good 16 and be done, not only will you save jacket size for the install, you get the better wire to begin with.. just my two cents..

yeah i agree with u too, i don't want cheap 12/14 wire, it is size issues, i use 12ga SHCA right now, but i have issues with fitting the wire in push terminals on speakers

Its just an extra option man. 12 gauge cca does handle current better than 16 gauge ofc in case he wants to throw more power to his mids.

you might as well run 10ga. power wire, lol.. the jacket on junk cca will take up room.. but hey, its not my car,

man if you need 16ga, I got monster 16ga on a spool.. can cut you what you need.

Ive got a new roll (400') of the Monster S16, but im meeting a buyer driving in from out of town to pick up my table saw setup at my storage, so while im over there, let me check and see what I have in 16ga on open rolls.. Either way, should be able to help you out..
