Hey a fellow homebrewer! you should look around your hometown area, im sure there is a homebrew/beer store somewhere (there is here).

If all else fails i would just look around on the internet for a site, im sure there is a few.

If your just getting started they have kits and such that make it pretty easy, and its alot cheaper than i paid for mine....

i have been wanting to get into homebrewing for a while. in college i bought a Mr. Beer kit and made my own for a while, it was good, and it was fun, but it was kind of a "my first brewery" type of kit.

if i had the money laying around right now, i would get some stuff to start brewing, or maybe even just buy the stuff to keep using my mr beer kit heh.

yeah im just getting started i just watched a series of videos and it looks fun. Thanks for the info skinrock i had no idea all these people homebrewed lol. When i do get it all goin ill let you all know how my bath is, oh yeah ,know of any good recipes, i was gonna try the bohemian pilsner but i heard an ale is easier and more forgiving for a begginer

yeah i had one of those MR. Beer kits for a while, they actually work pretty good, and it quite a bit easier than the "real" method but they want you to use like plastic bottles...thats ghey, i used my dads capper and glass bottles whenever i used the Mr. beer.

i think im going to try the real way, if anyone ahs some extra hops or malt extract or even the thing that you keep ontop of your fermenter to let the gas out id be interested though thanks all

and your thread title could be a little mis-leading. Gear can be mistaken for something else, and homebrew kits are out there for that too!
