I'm looking for an amp around the same as you but you didn't list a budget and 2nd an amp 2000-3000rms is not a SQ amp. I'm just looking to find a good deal on a used amp about 2500-3000rms on a $350-$400 max budget. If you gave more info like that more people would help.
This is just a quick list on good solid amps in which you don't pay the twice as much pricetag.
A good amp with 2200rms is an AQ2200D $389 each shipped but it does it at 1ohm. Cheap price and why do you need @ 2oms preferred? You didn't list or specify if you already have certain subs or not.
Crescendo 3KWP, $550 it does 3-4Krms but that is between 1ohm and .5ohm
Like I said, I know you specified 2ohms but its hard to help without any information like budget and subs. Most amps that output 2-3K @2ohms are gonna be more expensive for a solid built amp.
If you want a cheap amp that does put out rated @2ohms look at an audiopipe 3000, you can get them for like $330 shipped on ebay.
If you want to spend a little more money look at Sundown Audio but they run more expensive. Maybe look at some used sundowns.

yeah thanks, budget isnt really a problem so i didnt list one. as for quality i just dont want people saying hifonics or some bs like that. and for 2 ohms, i'd just rather have my amp at 2 ohms and if i wanted to i could drop it to 1. i guess i just miss my zx2500
Maybe not specifically SQ oriented (and DEF not cheap) but Earthquake's PH5000W/D1 and PH10000W/D1 are both rated at 0.016% THD
got a pa3000db 250 shiped pm if intersted
if you can find one a Crossfire VR2000d would be a very sweet amp in the power your looking for ..I use to have 2 of them

thanks everyone. im thinkin about the aq3500 or the rd3250, what do you guys think
I think that aq3500 puts out 4300rms and its a lot more then what you were asking about

always room to add more subs in the future. ~ 2600 at 2 is what im lookin for but i think the older 3500 is more like 3500 at 1 and 1900 at 2 does that sound correct?I think that aq3500 puts out 4300rms and its a lot more then what you were asking about
I have an Autotek MX5000.. pretty highly regarded for doing over rated power and having some good sound quality while doing it. 2400WRMS @ 2OHM @ 12.5V.. I'd do $350 but I'm not sure how much shipping is to Alaska :S
