Yeah, but amplifiers come underrated most of the time, especially that lineup from hifonics. my old 1501d's tech rating was 1000 watts @ 2 ohms at 12.5v but it's birthsheet said it put out 1224 watts at 12.5v (around 1700-1800 watts instead of the 1500 at 14v).

My hcca d5000 would probably give you close to 3000......rated at 2500 at 13.8 volts...and last years models were known to be a bit underrated.
