Im looking for a decent comp set to put in my 350z.I was looking around the 300 dollar range and im not sure about the higher end stuff but i was kinda looking for maybe some cdt or DLS or something like that or others.Just looking for something thats not too harsh and mainly natural sound thx.

The DD-germans are flippin nuts in a good way... Most people are happy with the DD 6.5cs. My friend slapped two sets in his expedition and now says hes doing SQ competitions instead of SPL because they keep up so well with his loaded horn 9518 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I actually have one DD dealer here and he said the cs set is 150 is that a pretty good price for these? Seems like such a low price for a comp set that everyone seems to say that they are that good.

I just installed some of the Hifonics ZXi 6.5C in friends z28 comaro. They sound great, their nice, clear, smooth, and the bass is pretty good to, for door speakers. You can buy a set for $59 on amazon. You simply can't beat the price for what you get.

thats not bad i think you will like the c series if you get the t2 tweets with them but they dls may be more your liking its up to you if your willing to spend the extra money for the germans.

If there isnt a HUGE diff between the DD and the DLS then im fine with the DD for half the money if they are as good as everyone is saying. Nobody here has them to listen to so im kinda screwed on that....i mainly listen rap and rock but i still mainly want something thats really natural and not harsh but has a good midbass.

That is very true... German midbasses have been told to take 250+rms daily! Id go just the regular 6.5 component sets. 150 is a good deal, support your local dealer... Just look at the product and send me a picture of one you think compares for the same price and ill completely sing a different tune, i have yet to find a better made set for the doller.

I mean truly, the Germans and the regular component sets are a bargain for the quality received, wont go wrong with either.

Im really looking forward now to hearing these over my bose in the 350z....that bose is horrid and muddy imo.
