i'm looking for a set of 6.5" free air, shallow mount midbass/subs for my camaro. 8" will not fit. would like to keep the price around 100.

why does it need to be free air? i would imagine something like a tang band would work

I have a couple of Earthquake shallow mount 6.5 subs that will work perfect ...they are BNIB and sound awesome...

i'm not exactly sure what the tang band is all about. never really heard of it before joining here.

i'm relatively new to all of this, so any info on my application would be appreciated. i have a 91 camaro, 4x6 dash, 6x9 sail panels stock, i plan on putting 6.5 components in the kick panels, and 6.5 subs in the sails. i have t-tops and want to keep what little rear storage i have, so putting an enclosure in the hatch is not an option, but i would still like some bass. from what i've found, the free air may be what i'm looking for. but i'm open for any other ideas. i've been looking at the kicker 08CVT654. any ideas?

I have some CDT 6x9 subs that I will be removing from my MINI shortly. Those bump decent and aren't too deep. It's a direct drop in. They were new when i bought them and had them installed for 3 months. They're not bad for bass. Reminds me of a single 8inch in a box.

I would do 90 shipped.
