Alright, Now, I know this may sound a bit preachy, but for my senior project (hopefully) I am going to build a home theatre system from scratch. I'm talking full 5.1 surround sound, custom made boxes, most likely fiberglass, anywho, the whole 9 yards.
Problem is that I have no job, and buying all this stuff new (most likely a 3-way setup? two way? i've never attempted a 3 way so I thought it would be more challenging/fun) would cost somewhere in the realm of 700-800 dollars (reciever, 5 woofers, 5 midranges, 5 tweets a sub and a plate amp, plus cost of materials for building the enclosures) and I just don't have that kind of money to spend.
So basically, if anyone has spare old stuff (all it needs to do is work, but I'd like it to be in good shape- I will be presenting it to a class and board of teachers+ I get a grade which determines whether i graduate!!!).
Wires, spare cans of paint, polyfill, whatever you got, i'd be more then happy to pay the shipping charges. Just send me a PM.
