might be a little much, if your building onto a door and plan to blend it in then it probably really wont be all that much extra left over. plan on what 2 or 3 layers?

some people are a little heavy handed on the resin...you could get away with less than a quart realistically. You can buy it by the quart at a bunch of places for $10-15

no these will be tiny with wood backing.. I am going to try something different and do it behind the door cover.. mainly because they look tacky unless done VERY well

home depot or lowes..or any autozone or advance carries resin and the kitty hair green looking stuff

1 can should be enough...it's like $12-15/pt and comes with the resin and hardener and pick you up a couple cheap foam applicators and some mat

resin:

bondo glass...has strands of mat in it, thick green lookin stuff...i usually use it after the resin to strengthen it up:

anyone think there will be a problem with putting some of the enclosure through the speaker hole and the rest of it out of the hole to the side? using the hole to gain more space..
