WTB Double Din flip out head unit

Needs to be a decent brand. Doesn't have to be anything fancy as my budget isn't huge for this purchase. Wanted to convert to single din but the guy who installed my current unit cut my dash bezel and it's $190 just to replace it. The one currently in there has a 7" screen and I like it but it's now broken so I need a new one. Ipod ready is a plus but not necessary.

u can go on sonic and get a oem looking double din for like 100 bucks... no screen but its cheap. didnt kno if u needed video

Only problem with that is the F^(king bezel being hacked on. It kinda has to be the full sized flip down face. Sonic has some good deals but was wondering if someone might have something they were trying to get rid of.

The size of the screen shouldn't play an affect on anything as long as its a double din it will fit they are all the same size why they are all classified as a double din

It does come into play when they trimmed around where it is mounted. Here's the deal. On the flip down units, the face of the unit sticks out further than one that mounts at the same depth as the OEM unit. The bezel actually covers the edges of the OEM unit, thus keeping you from being able to mount one with a motorized face without trimming it. This being done, I would have to replace the entire trim piece to put one that fits like OEM back in. The trim piece alone is $190 and I really don't want to buy that AND a head unit. I would prefer to replace it with something that will fit.

Kinda. I've got a couple of options but haven't made up my mind which direction I'm going as of yet.
