Good choice on the CX's those things can take some abuse. However I assume your talking about the DDC6.5's the DDT is just the tweeter itself. I love my DDT's but the DDMB were pure junk. The glue holding on the cones came loose and speakers bit the dust which was a good thing since I found Silver Flutes to replace them with. Plus, I was not that impressed with there inline crossovers. I ended up giving the mids away to mbooky who inturn fixed them and is now getting rid of them for some sweet Silver Flutes.
08 - Better too spend more now then to turn around and have to buy twice and going the DDMB route I would expect you to be needing a new set not to soon after. Maybe my DDMB's were defective maybe not but overall even if they did not fail I still would never recommend them. Id jump on the german's then when money allows add a second c4, etc.
