I have an eclipse 8443 for $220 shipped if you can manage another $20

Great deck, probably better than what you are looking for, 3 outputs, 8V a piece, built in digital sound processing, EQ and crossovers

Static electricity and magnetism

Introduction: we explored static electricity and magnetism trying to find similarities and differences. We then explored the different types of metals.

Equipment: Test stand, bar magnet, wool, 2 straws, 2 un-rubbed cut nails, paper clip, coat hanger wire, iron wire, copper wire, solder wire, aluminum wire, and piece of tape.

Setup: We used the test stand and tested the many different types of metals to see if they had a reaction to the nail rubbed with a magnet or a straw rubbed with wool.

Raw Data:

wire type unrubbed straw wool-rubbed straw unrubbed nail magnet-rubbed nail

paper clip o a o a

copper o a o o

aluminum o a o o

iron o a o a

coat hanger o o o a

solder o a o o

Analysis: We may have thought that the wire was a different type of wire which could mess up the data.

Analysis:

-were any of the results surprising?

-with the straw experiment the coat hanger was surprising, and the nail experiment had aluminum, copper, and solder with no affect.

Summary: this lab has helped me to distinguish. The differences of static electricity and magnetism. It has also helped me to find out what causes these things.
