ok well im looking for a set of dirt cheap components so i can just replace my OEM ones, about 10w each...My HU puts out about 20w so anything more than that. (do they even make aftermarket comps under 20w...ha) Im tired of hearing the poping from the mid and tweets when the music starts to sound decent. What you got?

are you looking for components or coaxial speakers, components are generally powered by an external (non headunit) amplifier

Im looking for comps...the tweet is near the top of the door and the midbass is near the bottom. I dont know much about comps tho. I didnt think about looking for the amp powering them, forgot all about that. Would they just be blown then if my power isnt coming from my HU...somewhat? My Hu has more eq settings than the OEM one so that may be wats putting the extra stress on them too...

i think you will be better off in the current situation to just un hook ur stock tweeters and run a set of coaxial speakers

ok so unhook the tweets and just buy a set of coaxs to put in place where the midbass is...? Sounds like a decent temp fix. Thanks

ok well i found the xover settings on my HU finally...i set it to about 70-80hz. No more popping noise.
