Wtb best amp for two l7's final impediance is 2 ohms;

What size L7s? 10s 12s 15s I'd say a Kicker ZX1500.1, if 18s try for a 2500.1 There are lots of good amps from other brands for sale on here, but the majority are rated at 1 ohm, so you wouldn't be able to use near the power you'd pay for.

Agreed. Unless it is an 18, you want to be looking in the 1500-1600 rms range at 2ohms. I had an L5 back in the day and it didn't like more than rated rms very well so I would try and stay close unless you can properly set the gains, etc on a bigger amp.

your really not gonna get the l7's much louder. a 12" l7 id 750rms, a 15 is 1000, although the PA amp is a piece of junk, its still probably putting out 1500 watts @ best maybe 1200. so if there 12's its not gonna get much louder. if you could do 2000 rms on a set of fifteens you ll see some improvement.

also when lookin @ amp specs, IGNORE all max ratings, they are b.s. just marketing gimmicks, anything over rms on a amps ia basically useless, as it'll start clipping and eventually fry your voice coils.

i would say you best investment would be a custom built box, preferably by you. tuned to about 33 hz with 12-14 square inches of port area in 6 cubes. if your running a prefab box, you'd be surprised how much better it'll sound in the right box

I figured they didnt, but thought maybe they did a while back...
no they never have, the only 18" kicker i can recall at the moment is a old school kicker comp vr.

also whoever thinks that automatically a 18" sub takes more power than a 12 or even a 10 or 8 is a du*bass.

Kicker always ups the motor structure as the cone gets larger. That was why I had differing numbers for the larger ones. Didn't realize they never made an 18" L7, I only deal with Xs
