Someone from DD made them? I believe.. i have 2 of them and love em.. they get loud, but thats about it.. and i got em for incredibly cheap..

I was also told they were designed by DD but when I called to inquire about them Steve at DD told me that wasn't true. The only thing I know about those woofers is that they were the last good product Audiobahn released. I wish I never would have sold the 15's I had.
