WTB- Atomic APX or RD HW recone

So I need a recone for my Atomic APX 818 motor. Same as an RD HW v1 (with exception of coil gap maybe). I would prefer the atomic or rd style spiders as they have holes to bolt the spider landings down. my total gap diameter is about 82mm (think it might be 81.8mm hence the name of 818 motor? Coil winding should be between 50-55mm. vc load doesnt matter as I dont have an amp yet. Let me know what you have! would prefer it to be 15/18" but will settle for whatever if price is good. LOL... probably won't find one much cheaper on here IMHO... IIRC I haven't seen any go for under $100 anyways...

the prob is the 818 has a real tight gap so you will have to get ahold of george or randy at atomic then you will need to get ahold of some one that has the soft parts you can do the holes in the spiders your self. if glued right ya dont need the screws look at my sight i know that the coil your looking for is 35+ shipping direct hope this helps ya out. the 842 and 856 848 will not fit the 818. the 842 in my boox if the loudest i have played with.

dude PM Team PSI. i will probably be looking into his recones for my hdc3's just to get some added features aq doesnt offer. he can do any recone for any motor pretty much. plus i dont really like going through them for recones. plus they have messed up on a friends order for recones as well. just wouldnt deal with it if i was you.

Ya I was originally going to go with a hw recone back when a friend of mine worked @ RD, but with all the issues with rd I decided to not. Atomic quoted me $220 for an 18" kit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif . I'm awaiting a reply from fi but if that doesnt go anywhere then I might just hit up david. I want to find someone who knows these motors so I don't have to ship the motor to be built properly.
