got offered skar 2500 bnib for 550 .. anybody know about this amp... from what i read online it seems reasonable... same designer as sundown? this true.. any advise.. oh and is it .5 ohm stable .. everyone keeps saying it is

There is a collective group of users on here who hate Skars due to the business owner's business practice. The product though, seem decent enough

Buying BNIB from a personal party is stupid, if it is a factory defect and it blows up, you're f'ed. Used or new with warranty are much better.

know this is from a dealer.. checked websit he sells dd and sundown also but he quoted the dd 200 higher...i feel the skar was actualy a legit low price where the dd is a good price but not like a hook up.... tell me who to contact..team members who wont mind sharing hook up to get it out there??

If it is truly BNIB with no issues, 550 is a pretty good price imo. Pretty sure Jacob from Sundown did not have anything to do with Skar's amp line, he did help with the VVX subs. .5 stable will depend on 2 factors. Your electrical to back it up, and your impedance curve. Impedance can rise AND fall.

Sounds decent then, my preference would still be an SAZ 3k or DD m3 from a reputable used seller, Skar is known for shadiness and poor quality control, I would actually much rather buy any Skar equipment used, just so I knew it wasn't a lemon.

**** dont know about impedance curve does this help: its for two fi q12 dual 2ohm driver'' electrical2 high end batteries,,,$258 msrp xs blue top dual purpose and braille 7548 almost as big.. and 200amp alternator

Man... Kevin gets sooooooooo much mileage out of Jacob's name it's not even funny.

M3 will walk all over that Skar for the same or less money.

2year warranty.. i think your right about the saz but i dont think an equivalent discount is on the table
