Bud rips runs the same power 11.5-14.4v. Also they have shown to make more power at 4ohm than lower. Go read up on it some more. It's not free, it cost you 50% efficency.

Also from some of the posts I have read they are slightly underrated. taylorfade clamped one at I believe starting imp around 2 rising to 5 and it did 1694 watts. they are current hogs as well. those stats were from the 1000/1v2 for what its worth.

They are beast amps that's worth the high price tag but they are current hogs. My front stage slash amps was my favorite piece of the build.

when you rise to 4ohm on a 2500 watt regulated amp it's only making 600 watts or so. Now drop the voltage to the 12s since it will in your truck and it's making 300. Do that with the JL and it's still making 1000. Make sense?

since you're on the subject, any idea if slash amps are bridgeable?

yeah but for the 2 or 4 channel there bridgeable from 3-8 ohms.
