WTB: amp around 1000 wrms +

Well, Im not really too sure about the amp I want. But I have around $180 to spend. Its going to be for my two JL Audio 10w7's. I want one thats atleast 1000 watts rms. It also needs to be able to go down to 1.5 ohms.

I'll keep that amp in mind.. Im gonna wait and see what others have to offer me first. If I dont see anything that I like, Ill probably look more into this amp. thanks

If you can pick up one look into a zx1000.1 at 1.5ohms it should run with no problem since it will rise anyway with imp rise so you will be good. Not sure what price these are going for but just an idea. Might even be able to go with a zx750.1 should run around 1kwatts being at 1.5ohms most birthsheets on those are around 850-900 at 2ohms

ed nine.1 1200 @1ohm, 900 @2ohms, rated at 12.5volts, with a 14+ charge you could add ~150ish to those numbers

I remember hooking up a zx750.1 on my two jl subs wired at 1.5 ohms. The amp kept going into protection so I rewired the subs and brought up the ohms. After that, it worked fine. I dont know if it couldnt handle being ran at 1.5 ohms or it was the voltage. I didnt have my voltage meter or my second battery at that time. prob was the voltage since many people run these amps at 1ohm daily
