not sure@.5 (everyone says they do .5 daily but my sub is dual 2 so i never ran more than 2000 watts @ 1ohm.

Trust me, you don't need that much power for an L7. I know it says it can handle a lot RMS wise, but from my experience it cannot hold that much power. To be on the safe side I would look for something that is around 700-800 watts RMS unless your talking about running two of them with the 1000-1200 watt amp.
