WTB-Alpine pdx 1000,or other 1000w rms Amp

Hey guys, this is my first post here. This is a great community and I look forward to learning from u guys since I'm a car audio noob. Anyway, I have two alpine type r 12 1222d 500w rms and I need a mono block amp to push them. I fried a 2 channel power acoustik bamf 2600 in less than 36 hours and my installer told me that that's really the wrong amp for my subs and that if I wanted to run it I should have bought the D4 alpines so he could bridge them. Its under warranty and I have another coming but I would rather buy a better amp, and just sell the power acoustik amp. so I'm lookin for sumthin more durable and that doesn't overheat as quickly. I have paypal ready so let me know what u have to offer.
