Do you know if 8's will fit in your doors? I've got a friend that wants my Rainbows, but he doesn't know if they'll fit in the IS300

Nah, I don't think they will unless you make a new baffle for it. There's room to do something like that if that's what you're asking.....?!?! Yep, plenty of room to do something custom!

Sorry to dumpin in your thread, but just consider it free bumps...

Would there have to be any door panel modding to make them fit? They're REALLY shallow and I have some .5" rings for them

Well, the factory 6.5" midbass driver sits in a pod. If you take the pod out, there's VERY little room to fit anything there or it'll hit the window when down. You can't even fit a shallow 6.5" speaker there without the pod or making something. So I suggest taking out the pod, then making something about as deep as the factory pod for your 8" driver!
