The glock: around 315 fps without hop up. 280 fps should be realistic with hop up on. It runs on green gas only. I've never had it chronoed though because the club i played with stopped holding games.

As for the MP5: $165+ shipping

It needs a secondary latch to keep the retractable stock from being pulled out all the way if the primary latch is dissingaged. That's kind confusing, but the short version is the stock will lock in any of 3 positions,but it can also be pulled off the back of the gun if the latch is pressed while pulling it out. I will also replace the spring with a new equally powered one (for free of course). It was chronoed at 240 fps with a fatigued spring and hop up on. It has a plastic orange tip in the box.

If you want both i'll drop the glock's price by $15 and you pay actually shipping.

Edit: all specs are with .20 gram BBs

About how long before the velocity lowers noticeably?

I never noticed a change going with seat-of-my-pants analysis, although chrono results did decrease over time. If you always de-caulk the gun after use (shoot one shot without a BB in the chamber) it should chrono about the same for over a year. It took maybe two years without de-caulking the first year to go from an [estimated] 280 when new to 240 which was my slowest/ last chrono test.

Besides, springs are cheap ($10.75 for an M100), but the install is tricky until you get used to it

note: caulk=c0ck, stupid censoring.

yep, its a Classic Army. The only plastic parts are the foregrip and grip and plastic tip (black tip is metal though). Even the flashlight is metal.
