so i while i was running more speaker wire i went to tighten it down and i broke the speaker terminal screw mechanism thing. I dont know what to call it exactly. Anyways because i spent so much and got the warranties i just got a brand new Rockford t400-4 whootty whooo... clean as hell. Now i just need an active crossover to not be a bum and running a biamp passive crossover.

If you wanted to run active, you wouldn't have a crossover at all. Well, not a physical one, just one on the amp.

My amplifer doesn't have the correct crossover settings, so instead of buying one that does If i get a standalone crossover unit I can set everything before the amp and it will be fully active. Anyone know of any good deals on new ones?

Yea i just got a brand new one, my other one the speaker terminal screw thingy broke off. They gave me a brand new one out the box. and its 6watts more then my old one according to the birthsheet lol. And im talking about a preamp crossover like this Kicker KX2 (03KX2) 2-Way Active Electronic Crossover but 3 way.

1600 for what was listed is getting butt fugged, warranties or not. if they were real retailers the warranties would have been standard. in that case you would only have only been paying way too much instead of insanely too much like you did

id burn that place down and salt the earth for that kind of rip off...

now actually pertaning to the thread.....get an alpine or eclipse 3 way deck...you'll love it.

Didnt get ***** *******. The warrenty shit is why it cost so much but i was stupid. But i did get nice equipment. Rockford t400-4, boston sx60, boston sx65's, rockford p300. Orion sub.rockford 4 gauge, installed. This was 3 years ago too. Plus when i totaled my passat i got 80% of what i paid for them. Anyways that was then thsi is now. I need a active crossover. prefer 3 way.

Actually I didnt get that ****ed like you guys think. I paid 1200 for the products. I went online to sonix electronics and seen how much everything was. I paid only ~150 more then what i would have paid at se.com besides the warranties which I bought. The warranties are good for 5 years, and i got it on everything.Just yesterday my speaker terminal messed up on my rockford t400-4 and they replaced it with a brand new one within 15 minutes. No shipping no waiting, no bs. Yea I could have got 2 18s and a 3kw amp for that much but I got a decent deck, excellent components(better then any set i had since) nice rear fill, a 4 channel amp(rockford) a mono amp(rockford) and a okay budget sub in a box.
