Because i have seen both the 880prs and 9887 sell for $250shipped or less, i am willing to spend $250 on the 880 and around $210 for the 9887.

Any other active capable HU f/s just let me know.

what about an alpine dva-9861? pair it witht he h701 processor and you have one of the best active capable units out there. you wont even know what to do with everything. 275 shipped mint condition, and comes with the ipod cable. 265 shipped without the cable

i am deff. interested in it then. I am just not as comfortable with the features in this unit as the 9887 and 880prs. Did you run active with it? is it difficult to find all the setting and what not i need?
