if apple.com still has them, they have the refurbed 8g touch for $179 (first gen). you cant beat that.

you can also search for the student discount code and get another discount on it also.

There isn't any student discounts on the touch right now, only the laptops.

They still have some 8g 1st gens for $179 shipped. 1 year warranty. I've been thinking about picking up a refurb for my gf for xmas but she might act all snotty and want the 2nd gen.
