It might "RETAIL" for over $1000 but do you honestly think that someone is going to pay even close to that with an amp that does 150 x 2 and 600 x 1 watts rms? Even the MB Quart and Hifonics RETAIL for over $1000..but do they sell even close to that for new? NO....Oh and nice little PM you sent me, it cracked me up.

Did i say anyone would pay that ,I can tell you dont know much about older car audio that was made good.But they still sell for 3 to4 hundred used so they must be alright.Its a 12 year old amp and yea im sure people bought them when they were new ,you cant buy alpine stuff new for a quarter of retail price like you can with alot of other brands..
