WTB 6.5 Speakers

I got a pair of MB quarts right now and one of my 6.5 drivers is acting up and sounding like shit.

I got crossover and tweeters already just need the 6.5's.. looking for something around 100-150 rms handling and sound amazing.. willing to look at a whole new set of components if the price is right...

Let me know what you have and what condition it is in... please note i have to modify the basket top to fit in a hex shape ( stupid 07 grandprix)

Where would you put the 6.5s? Im looking into getting some also down the road but not sure where to put them..let alone get someone that knows what they are doing to install them.

the front doors in my car house 6.5 speakers and 1 in tweeters however the factory shape of the speaker is a hexagon not a circle, so i had to take a dremel and modify the basket to fit into the hex shape. I plan on making my own housing for the speakers if i get a good set down the road rather then trash the 6.5's basket. Just so wood work but i dont have the tools so thats why i just modified the speaker this time.

what kind of budget i can get you a new set of cdt comps if interested..

budget is open, the longer i withstand this noise the more money i will have. As of right now the tweets and crossovers are good, and since this is more for loudness over quality i am just looking for something that can get loud but sound good still. I plan on doing a good SQ build in a few years and selling all my SPL stuff, but for now im sticking with SPL.

If you could get me just the 6.5" woofers let me know how much they cost and what range they are good for.

If you can get a sick deal on the whole package i may still consider it and try to sell these mb quarts... idk whats wrong with the one my guess is a tiny piece of metal got inbetween the motor gap and is causing this scratching noise...
