spend 100 and get these...you won't regret it. Feed them around 100-120 watt each and you should be pretty satisfied.

trying to spend about $50, I know you're right though..

and my amp supposedly puts out 70x2 @ ohms on 2 channel..

edit - see you only want to spend $50 so good luck, but I'd just save up some cash and buy a nice set of comps and a good amp when the money was right rather than invest $50 into speakers that you won't like and will just have to replace later and eat the loss... just my .02

just save some more money and do it right the first time. You have a pretty solid sub and amp combo..don't cheat yourself with some super-cheap comps.

lol the 6.5s i bought were clif designs with a 22mm silk dome tweet and a woven cone woofer. they handel 80 rms per driver and have a 3 year warranty!

What about those Phoenix Golds everybody's talking about. I saw them at a store yesterday, but didn't hear them in action. They are like 80ish on ebay.

Personally I don't think they sound that good... but others may disagree. Also, the people who really like them are running 150+ watts to them and some are even crossing them active, so I don't think you are going to get what you want unless you save up more money!
