For xmas im wating to redo my brothers front stage. Hes drives a 02 dodge ram 2500, with the built in infinity 40x4@4ohms.

Looking for some decent budget 6.5s for him with silk dome tweets

As for the converter plate, looking for something sturdy non of that plastic crap.

Also will consider nice 6x9s, nothing cheap just efficient. boston, memphis PRs come to mind

Only looking for items in MINT or near mint shape, nothing beat up or scared

Looking to spend 50-65bucks shipped. LMK guys

Ive got some nice 6x9 to 6.5" Rockford Fosgate adapters. They are about 1/8" thick ABS plastic. Very rigid. I used a set with my Eclipse SC6500 midbass and they didnt flex at all. They also offer groves to trim down so they can fit your drivers to the T as all 6.5" or 1" tweeters are exactly the same size mounting diameter. $15 shipped for a pair.

What's you budget? I can include 6x9-6.5" adapters with the speakers made of 3/4" mdf
look to spend around 50-60 for the whole setup, im talking budget comps that will sound good off 40wrms. Nothing fancy or high end.

I tryed them with my dodge and really didnt like them. I ended up throwing them away and having some wood ones made.

These adapters were made back a long time ago. These arent those cheap ones on eBay made by Scosche.

PM me pics, i bought some RF(idk who made them, just had RF symbol thing) ones off ebay last year that were pretty much crap lol if there not thoughs then shoot over some pics

No i ran them all off a orion cobalt 265. I put 400hz bass blockers on the 3.5's, ran the 6x9's i think 80hz up and the tweets i just used some generic tweeter crossovers that i'm sure are laying around somewhere. Any decent 2 channel amp should be able to handle the load.
