i'm looking for a set of good brand 15" subs (4) that will hold around 1000 watts rms each... or maybe 2 better 15's that will hold 2000 watts rms each... price range 500-700 ... maybe a pair of 18's and up the price for the right subs

someone locally to me has some RF P3 15's on craigslist, they are only 400 I think...

nah... i'm good on the p3's. i tend to stay away from rockford as far as subs go... in my experience, a lil overpriced. their amps are top notch, but to me, the subs are just overpriced in comparison to some other subs out there.

Yea, I did 4 of these in a wall in a sunfire with 2800 watts. It was ok, but i didn't have the heart to tell the guy that a 2 13w3's ported in the trunk would have STOMPED the S&*T out of it. I built the install my former boss sold. I would recommend the 13w3v3's for your application. JL stopped making higher end 15' woofers because when they designed the 13.5" it produce 20% more output than their former 15w6 woofer.
