WTB : 3" VC Motor

Looking to build my brother a sub, but apparently none of the multiple motors I have lying around will fit the bill...

Wanna build it to handle about 1500 watts. So please have gap measurements readily available or at least be able to get them, as I need a motor that can fit an 8-layer voice coil.

I have no certain motor in mind right now, and am open to any offers. I'm not looking for a super strong motor however, so no BTL's, MT's, Omega's, Nightshade's, etc. Looking more along the lines of a mid-level motor, maybe like an Fi Q, Fi BL, T3 TSS, something along those lines.

Thanks for the offer but this needs to be built into a 15", so a 12" TI basket will do me no good.

Thanks for the offer SPY, and if I were building this for my own personal use I'd have to consider that. But, truth is, I don't have that kinda money to spend on a sub that's not even gonna be for me :S.

I have a Type-X motor I will let go for cheap. Let me know. could be a bad a$$ little sub.

pole piece outside diameter = 2.85 15 in / 72.43 mm

top plate inside diameter = 3.22 60 in / 81.94 mm

top plate thickness/height = .41 85 in / 10.63mm

magnet thickness/height = 1.79 10 in / 45.65 mm
