would like the front channels to be at least 75 watts and the sub channel at least 600 watts rms @ 1ohm. could be a 4 channel as long as it fits the specs listed. something along the lines of a dls a5 or dd S4. trying to keep it under 300 bucks. have a memphis mc1000d that i could throw in on a trade.

on your 4 channel amp i would only be able to bridge 2 of the channels for my sub and use the remaining 2 for my components

thats why more than likely a 4 channel amp is not gonna work for me for the price i am looking to spend. gonna be hard to get 6-800 watts from a 4 channel while keeping the power to my comps @ 150 watts

here are the specs

60 watts RMS x 4 channels + 107 watts RMS x 2 channels

at 4 ohms and ≤ 1% THD + Noise

160 watts x 2 + 300 watts x 1 at 4 ohms, 14.4V supply

and ≤ 1% THD + N2

thats for the jbl

as for the alpha...its crazy high and is one ohm stable...
