the v.2s are alot heavier duty, larger motor, uses an SA 8 spider and excursion is limited by the surround so over excursion won't destroy them like the v.1s. I've had both and the performance is very similar... I have a couple of E8 v.1s that need recones if you're interested. I know SPLAudio will recone them into v.2s.

I think Im going to hold off on these untill I get my sound deading and comps in, and still tweaking my gains and filters. Also, not sure two are going to fit how Id like them to, so I think Im looking for a single D2 now if I get them at all.

Yea the motor is larger as well along with new soft parts and VC options

V2 parts DO NOT fit a V1 with out modification.
