I love sundown myself, but I've heard they're not that great with SQ. team sundown got docked points for noise b/c of their amps.

I have a few old school Sony Mobile ES XM-5046 4 channels that are stable down to 1 ohm stereo/2 ohms mono. These were made in Japan, and came out back before their Xplode garbage. Very well-built, decent xover and built-in cooling fans. They are rated at 180x2@4 ohms bridged but are known to be underrated. They are stable down to 2 ohms bridged and will do somewhere in the neighborhood of 350x2. I have one with endcaps and one without. $160 shipped with the endcaps or $145 shipped without.

that sony is beautiful.

may be more headroom than you need, but i have a us acoustics usa2200. zed built, rated 2x200 @ 4 ohms but more like 2x250. clean old school power, 190 shipped.
