I shot you a pm with a thread link to some info on them. Not a lot of info out on the web about them b/c the owner doesn't care to put up a website; the product speaks for itself.

Get some DD1508s. I can get you some if you paypal me.
At what $$

ok I viewed those links, thank BTW and Im interested!

But one thing I like to know from BOTH you guys!

All things being EQUAL and by no means Im a JL Audio groupie b/c I know there other brand esp in the 10'/12' range that can perform as well or better but I want 2 8's so with that being said:

Will TB Ultra 8 or DD1508 outperform the 8w7.

In my honest opinion in respect to performance I would rank the three in this order:

DD1508

JL 8w7

TB Ultra 8

But at a cost per performance ratio I would rank them:

TB Ultra 8

DD1508

JL 8w7

True bass are great sounding speakers and cost a fraction of either of the other two. It would come down to the application you are going to put the speaker into.

Ive asked a few respected members and pretty much got the same answers along with a "musically" ranking as well

JL, DD, TB in 1,2,3 order

$$ is not the only issue only b/c if I make a wrong choice then time is $$

How much power do you have?
PPI 3000/1 but thats what gains are right?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

I want to build a nice solid heavy sq system, that when you open the trunk and see this lil box, they go DAYUM, 8's?

SQ is the goal!!!

no dont want 10's or 12;s trying to keep the weight down and trunk space!

I beieve in doing things RIGHT once, so Ill take my time here.. Still working on wiring, deadening, front stage I have some time to think about sub stage yet!!

don't be fooled TB's play a range of freq's and work well for sq setups. There is a guy here in NC that was a sq judge for yrs and he likes 'em. GLWS
TB is still an option but just gonna take my time and make the best informed decision I can!

thanks for turning me on to TB!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

TB 8's are bad subs....they'll get LOUD with not much power!!! 1508's and 1008's live up to the hype also!

The JL 8w7 IMO has a step over the other 2 SQ/SQL wise! I've used/owned all three and by no means a JL fan, Trubass fan, nor a DD fan at all. The JL is def. the cleanest and deepest....and it was pretty obvious IMO. The others were a tad louder and still sound good!
