You must have clipped the shit out of it. They handle quite a bit of power.

No i set my gain right i know what i was doing had them running off my kicker 750.1, my ssd handles my amp no problem same gain set too.

I had the same amp on mine. I even cranked it on a number of occasions with no problem. Oh well. Good luck.
