WTB: 12" sub + amp

Girlfriend wants a system and I told her I would help her out.

She wants a 12" sub and an amp to push it and she hasn't really gave me a budget yet so, if you would just post up what you got and I will run the prices by her and see what she thinks.

heres what she wants....

Shes looking for a nice 12" SQL sub, something that will last her awhile and make her happy

Probably something a long the lines of a W6 or an RE SE

As for an amp, a pretty solid amp will do her fine. Hifonics BX1000D maybe or something like that.

Thanks Jdizzle, I appreciate the offer but I'd kinda like to stick with something I am familiar with. Ive never heard a DD sub and wouldnt feel comfortable getting it for her and not knowing what it will sound like or anything.

How about an Arc Audio Flatline 12D2. Then you can get this for it.

Great woofer^^^^^wish i had the money to buy it for my self

and DD is mainly SPL oriented subs...but i've heard some have pretty good SQ in the right applic.

How bout that Arc Audio woofer? Does it get low and hit the highs good?

Ive only heard of Arc Audio, never heard any real info about their stuff....

Have you listened to an IDMAX? The Flatline is made by ID.

It will work good off 600-1000 watts. And can be put in as small as a .9 cu ft sealed enclosure.

I don't know if you wanted to get her some SQ woofers, but I have a pair of audiobahn 1206T (1100 watts RMS a piece) that I'm getting rid of. I'll sell the pair for $100.
