I am looking for a 10 inch sub, something along the lines of a treo ssx, alpine type r or comparable!

anyone? mmats 2.5, 3.0, treo ssi, ssx etc..., alpine type r, sa10.... something i can use 1000rms with

i doubt you can put 1000 watts on 1 type r 10 .but i have these

older fosgates but still in great shape and working condition

amp is a mtx rt1000d, i doubt it does a full 1000rms, but its rated that @2ohms, if tried a jlw3v2, jlw6v1, and audiopipe txx-be 10.

The audiopipe handled the power best, but ready to try something else

ratings say 1000 rms at 2 ohm at 14.4 volts.i've had 1800 watts rms on my pair of these woofers
