wrapping copper strand around rca's?

I have a pioneer raddio and I was thinking of grounding the rca''s with copper to the radio chassis. I was concerned with the white and red rca out touching each other with the copper strannd and if this makes a difference, since one channel of the rca is touching the other channel. thanks.

Do you have the noise problem with pioneer HU? If your not having the ground loop problem, there's no need to do it.

The outer barrels of the RCAs are all supposed to be "ground" so it doesn't matter if those touch. The center pin is what you have to worry about.
