Those are van-scam speakers, man.

They make a fancy site, with outrageous msrp's, and then people sell them out of the back of trucks, and act like they're stolen.

Like, "hey man, i got some real good speakers real cheap"

and then they sell you $50 speakers for $300, cause they say they're worth $3k.

A Ps3 is real. Those speakers, however, are not.

I wouldn't get those. Honestly, not for a ps2 LOL. They are not good speakers. If your looking for surround look at Mirage audio. Very good stuff!

As far as the P*ssing contest going on. here is my .02. If you have the time to sit and wait for a ps3, do it. Sell it, make a profit. To me its just like buying stocks. Your an investor and my hats off to you. If you don't have the time or schedule to do so, **** it up and buy one at the going rate. *shrug* Just me though. If you can't do either...then wait till the replen or come down in price.

Either way, to answer the question..those speakers **** LOL. You would be better off building boxes from a DIY shop online.

The only reason i think the pissing contest is going on is becuase piston finds the need to come to a car audio forum and brag about every little thing he does, first it was bragging about how hes getting 600 or some outragious number like that from a wholesaller, now he has 10 or whatever number, brags, brags about the stuff hes getting (mind you hasnt even got yet so hes still out some good money) and then when you think its over... finds something else to brag about

I fell for it once, but to me it was worth it. Served it's purpose in my apt.

Although "fell for it" isn't quite right, I paid something like 150 for both towers, he started by asking over 2k IIRC, sure he still made money but I was happy, and that's what matters.

Well we live and learn on this kinda stuff. If you buy it, hopefully you buy it cheap and you can tell someone else about it (like here). I'm glad he is making money and that people want to buy them. Me personally, I want to get a Wii. I have the $$ to spend the extra but I won't, so I'm going to wait till I can get one in a few weeks for 250. Graphics are not as good, but I play pc for that.

LOL I guess I am the only person here who said they have a PS3. Does Lucid notice other people selling them for MORE than me in the classifieds??? I think Lucid has a man crush on me....I am quite flattered that Satan/Denial picked me of everyone.

Just read the scamshield site and that same thing happened to me 10 years ago in Phoenix. I figured they were stolen so I didn't even bother. Good thing.
